So Bear In Mind has now been running for a full year, and it looks like 12 months of imaginary interference have taken their toll on Arthur. Is he really going to seek professional help to get Thorburn out of his head? Let’s keep reading and we’ll find out together.
As an anniversary extra, here’s the original cast sketch that started the whole thing, drawn on the back of an office memo whilst talking on the phone at work;

Thorburn was the only one to significantly change, gaining a little more personality, but the basics are all there.
Meanwhile I’d just like to thank everyone who’s visited so far, from the regulars who drop in every week to the casual ad-clickers redirected from other sites. Although I’d probably keep making the strip even if no-one else was interested, knowing you’re reading makes it that much more satisfying. Here’s to the next 52 weeks…
Well done on getting to a year! I’ve been reading it for about three-quarters of that time, after clicking on a Project Wonderful ad (see, they do work!) and I’ve really enjoyed the strip. Do you have an eventual overarching story arc/conclusion planned, or is it going to keep going as long as possible?
Thanks swirlythingy! I don’t have a definite ending planned, although several story arcs are in the pipeline. I’ll keep going as long as I’m having fun, and that doesn’t seem likely to end anytime soon.
Keep up the good work old chum. Love it!
Well done so far, keep it up
